Users' access to the menus and functions in Net•Yield are based on security privileges which are assigned to the user in User Security. If the user does not have the proper security to a specific part of the menu, it will not appear as a menu option when the user is logged into the system. The system-wide menu options can be controlled in Customize Menu. Users are created and their security privileges maintained in User Security. New users can be created by copying an existing user’s security profile or by selecting from one of the pre-defined user roles. Only users with “Security” privileges can create and maintain users in the system
The user ID defaults as the user name when a new user is created. Passwords can be changed by the user in User Password. The user password can be reset to the user ID in Reset Password by users with “Security” privileges.
User Options are assigned to users to control the Sales Orders and Purchase Orders options for each user.
User Printing is used to assign the Net•Yield default printer and form printer overrides for each user, as well as the user’s output prompts and minimum font size for reports.
User Settings is used to assign roles for the user and assign the user's outgoing e-mail address when e-mailing from Net•Yield.
